Terrible Night

Every day at 12 o’clock at night, the girl would look out of the window at an old woman staring at her.

The woman had a strange gleam in her eyes and a scary smile on her face.

One night, the girl opened the window in fear and asked, “Who are you?”

The old woman said in a cold voice, “I am the one who comes in your dreams… to pick you up.”

The girl closed the door in fear and switched off the light.

She lay on the bed, her heart beating loudly. As soon as she closed her eyes, a cold breeze blew into the room.

She opened her eyes, and saw… that woman standing near her bed.

The girl could not even scream, and there was silence in the room.
