The Hunter of Darkness
Rahul was walking through a deserted street in the dark of the night.
He felt as if someone was watching him.
Just then a cold wind blew and he heard soft whispers. He looked back, but there was no one there.
As he started walking faster, the whispers grew louder, echoing around him.
Suddenly, his eyes fell on a shadow moving on the wall, but there was no one there.
The shadow started moving slowly towards him, and a cold voice came, “You cannot escape me.”
Trembling with fear, Rahul tried to run, but the shadow clung to his legs and dragged him into the darkness. His screams were muffled by the night itself.
In the morning, when people passed by there, there was only a new mark on the wall, as if someone else’s shadow had disappeared into the darkness. Which was now waiting for the next victim.
