Whispering Shadows

Late at night, Priya was studying. Suddenly, she heard a soft whisper from behind: “Dear… look at me…”

She turned around, but there was no one there. Frightened, she looked at the mirror.

Her reflection was gone, and a black shadow was smiling.

She whispered, “You are not alone…” Suddenly, the shadow came out of the mirror and started moving towards Priya.

Priya could not scream, and the shadow grabbed her…

The next morning, there were only books scattered in the room, and her smiling shadow was seen in the mirror.
